At Active Angels we strive to provide children with a ‘home from home’ environment aided by an ambitious curriculum, supported by a language rich environment full of endless opportunities including offsite trips, parent workshops and visits from outside agencies such as: The Dentist, Animal Care Workshops, The Police, Firemen, Road Safety Experts etc.
We ensure that children are appropriately challenged given their age/stage of learning, in addition to supporting any children with additional needs by providing the correct necessary support.
Active Angels is situated on 6 acre’s of stunning landscaped fields, providing us with the means to ensure children take part in various forest school activities as well as maintaining outdoor play as an essential part of their day. Baby room offers a private fenced off play area, suited to their age more appropriately in addition to Cherubs/Preschool sharing a large fenced off Playground complete with a mud kitchen, climbing apparatus, an indoor playhouse and many more exciting opportunities.
At Active Angels Day Nursery, we are committed to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). From personalized learning plans to inclusive activities and close collaboration with families and specialists, Sophie ensures that every child’s abilities are recognized and celebrated. Her expertise helps make Active Angels a truly nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
We place a huge emphasis on children’s health and wellbeing and ensuring they have full access to the outdoors as well as nutritious meals and ensuring they have relationships with their teachers that are close, warm and supportive.
At Active Angels Day Nursery, we are proud to share that all staff are now fully Paediatric First Aid trained. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing the safest possible environment for every child in our care. Having every team member trained means that no matter where children are, in any room, outdoors, or on trips, there is always someone present who can respond confidently and quickly in an emergency. It gives parents peace of mind and ensures that our staff have the knowledge and skills to act effectively, from minor bumps to more serious situations. Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do, and this training further strengthens the high standard of care we provide every day.
“We’re proud to share that in September 2025, we achieved a 5-star Environmental Food Hygiene rating, reflecting our commitment to exceptional cleanliness, safety, and care in everything we do.”
We have a dedicated on site chef who strives to be the ‘best of the best’. Our Chef has maintained a 5 out of 5 * Food Hygiene Rating who has upheld this rating for the past 18 years and received the correct certification from the Food Hygiene Agency. Children are provided with a three weekly rotating dinner menu, in addition to ‘Special Dinners’ being offered on Event Days E.G. Bonfire Night, Diwali, Christmas, Eid etc.
