Our Pre-school room is a vibrant and inspiring environment where children continue to grow in confidence, independence, and readiness for the next stage of their educational journey. Through a carefully planned curriculum and enriching experiences, children are encouraged to develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need to thrive as they prepare for school.

Staff provide children with a wide range of challenging and engaging opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Daily access to large open spaces allows children to run, climb, balance, and explore, helping to develop their physical abilities while promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Through purposeful play and adult-led experiences, children are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and build resilience, confidence, and independence.

Our Pre-school team is committed to supporting every child to meet and exceed developmental milestones, ensuring they are fully prepared for a successful transition to school. Learning experiences are tailored to children’s individual interests and next steps, helping them to make excellent progress across all areas of development.

We value strong partnerships with families and regularly invite parents and carers into the setting to participate in educational talks and workshops led by visiting specialists. These sessions provide valuable insights and practical guidance, enabling families to support their children’s learning and development both at home and in the nursery.

To celebrate their achievements and mark the end of their nursery journey, our pre-school children take part in a special Graduation Ceremony. This memorable event recognises their growth, accomplishments, and readiness for school, providing children and their families with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this important milestone together.
